1. Who you are buying from
Your contract for this ticket and event is with Comical Reactions. We are the seller of, and are responsible for, the event and the ticket. Ticket Monkey Ltd operates the booking platform and is responsible only for the booking service and any booking fee it charges, as set out in its Customer Purchase Policy and Website Terms of Use.
2. Your ticket and the event
A ticket is a personal, revocable licence to attend your events at the event venue on the relevant event date and time. The event details, line-up and running order are as described at the time of sale and may be subject to change.
3. Prices and payment
The ticket price (face value) is set by us and shown before you pay. Ticket Monkey may add a separate booking fee, which is shown to you separately at checkout and is governed by Ticket Monkey’s terms, not ours. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.
4. Delivery and admission
Tickets are issued electronically and accessed through the Ticket Monkey app or as an e-ticket / QR code. You must present a valid ticket for admission. Please keep your ticket secure; we are not responsible for tickets lost or shared due to your own error, though you should contact us if you have a problem. On arrival at Thirsty, a seat will have been allocated to you in the den and labelled with the name of your party.
5. Age restrictions and ID
This event is hosted in a bar, under 18s should be accompanied by a responsibe adult and by attending you accept that some material may not be appropriate for under 18s. The organiser is not responsible for the content of the acts. You are responsible for checking and meeting the age and ID requirements before buying. The bar staff may refuse entry, without refund, if you cannot meet them.
6. Refunds, cancellations and changes
As the seller, we are responsible for refunds relating to the event. If we cancel the event, you are entitled to a refund of the face value of your ticket. If we reschedule, your ticket will normally remain valid for the new date; if you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund of the face value. Refunds are made to your original payment method without undue delay and within 14 days. The booking fee charged by Ticket Monkey is dealt with under Ticket Monkey’s terms. The show line up is subject to change. Where a headline act is advertised and then changed, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to tickets for dated leisure events, so tickets are otherwise non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. If you cannot attend; resale
Tickets are for personal use and must not be resold for profit or transferred in breach of these terms. Tickets resold or transferred in breach may be cancelled without refund and entry refused.
8. Behaviour and your responsibilities
You must comply with the venue’s rules and the instructions of event staff, and behave in a way that is safe and respectful to others. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is abusive, intoxicated, or poses a risk to safety or the running of the event, without refund. Prohibited items: Video equipment.
This is an inclusive event and we take the safety and comfort of both the acts and the audience seriously. Hecklers will be asked to leave without a refund.
9. Health and safety
You attend the event at your own risk in respect of matters outside our reasonable control, and must follow all safety instructions. If you have accessibility requirements, contact us in advance at info@comicalreactions.co.uk.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for matters outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you in connection with a ticket will not exceed the face value you paid for it, except where the law requires otherwise.

We are the controller of personal data we use to run the event and manage your attendance, and we will handle it in line with our own privacy notice. Ticket Monkey processes ticket-sale data on our behalf as our processor, under its Data Processing Agreement, and processes some data as its own controller as described in its Privacy Policy. Our privacy contact: info@comicalreactions.co.uk.
12. Complaints and contact
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at info@comicalreactions.co.uk so we can put it right. For issues with the booking platform or your booking fee, contact Ticket Monkey at support@ticketmonkey.co.uk.
13. Governing law
