These terms apply to tickets purchased for Swingsters.co.uk band nights and live music events. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
1. Tickets
Tickets are valid only for the event, date and venue stated on the ticket.
Your ticket must be retained and presented on arrival, either electronically or in another format specified by Swingsters.co.uk
Tickets may not be duplicated, fraudulently reproduced or resold for commercial gain.
Swingsters.co.uk reserves the right to refuse admission where a ticket is found to be fraudulent, duplicated or obtained through unauthorised resale.
2. Ticket prices and booking fees
The ticket price is shown at the time of purchase.
Ticket Monkey may charge a separate booking fee and/or other charges associated with processing the booking. Any such charges will be shown to you before payment is completed.
3. Refunds and cancellations
Tickets are generally non-refundable where the customer simply changes their mind or is unable to attend.
However, this does not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
If Swingsters.co.uk cancels an event, ticket holders will normally be offered a refund of the ticket price or another appropriate remedy, subject to applicable law.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, Swingsters.co.uk will provide information about the new date and any applicable refund arrangements.
Where an event is cancelled or rescheduled, any booking or transaction fees charged by Ticket Monkey will be dealt with in accordance with Ticket Monkey's applicable terms.
4. Changes to the event
Swingsters.co.uk reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the advertised event, including changes to the running order, performers, timings or other arrangements.
Where a significant change materially affects the event, Swingsters.co.uk will provide appropriate information and any remedies required by applicable law.
5. Admission
Doors-open and event times will be stated on the event listing or ticket.
Swingsters cannot guarantee admission before the advertised doors-open time.
Late admission may be restricted where necessary for the safety or enjoyment of performers and other customers.
6. Age restrictions
Any age restriction applying to an event will be clearly stated on the event listing.
Where identification is required, customers must provide acceptable photographic identification.
Customers who do not meet an advertised age restriction may be refused admission.
7. Behaviour
Customers must follow reasonable instructions from Swingsters.co.uk staff, venue staff and security personnel.
Swingsters.co.uk reserves the right to refuse admission or remove a customer where their behaviour:
is threatening, abusive or discriminatory;
creates a risk to other customers, staff or performers;
significantly disrupts the event;
involves illegal activity; or
breaches the venue's rules.
Where admission is refused or a customer is removed because of their own behaviour, no refund will normally be provided, subject to applicable law.
8. Alcohol and intoxication
Where alcohol is available at the venue, customers must comply with the venue's licensing conditions and staff instructions.
Swingsters.co.uk and the venue may refuse admission or service to anyone who is excessively intoxicated or whose behaviour presents a safety or security risk.
9. Photography and recording
Photography and recording may take place during Swingsters.co.uk events for promotional and archival purposes.
By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or recordings of the event.
If you have a particular concern about appearing in promotional material, please contact Swingsters.co.uk
10. Accessibility
Swingsters.co.uk aims to make its events accessible and welcoming.
If you have accessibility requirements or need assistance attending an event, please contact Swingsters.co.uk at dance@swingsters.co.uk before the event wherever possible so that reasonable arrangements can be discussed.
Venue-specific accessibility information will be provided where available.
11. Venue rules
Customers must comply with the rules and reasonable instructions of the venue hosting the event.
The venue may have additional restrictions relating to items such as bags, food, drinks, smoking, vaping, parking or photography.
12. Personal belongings
Customers are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Swingsters.co.uk is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Event cancellation or circumstances beyond our control
If an event cannot take place because of circumstances outside Swingsters.co.uk reasonable control, Swingsters.co.uk will communicate with ticket holders as soon as reasonably practicable and will provide any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, venue closure, government restrictions, industrial action, serious infrastructure problems or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
