North Devon's biggest fireworks night is back at Barnstaple Rugby Club. Grab something hot from the food traders and a drink from the bar. Get the music going with Tamsin Ball, then count down with thousands of others as the sky over the Taw lights up. The crowd, the countdown, the bangs you feel in your chest: you only get that from inside the ground. This year every ticket helps local mums and babies. The display is organised by Barnstaple Round Table, and the profit from the night goes to the maternity unit at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple, so coming in does more than get you the best view in town. What's on Gates open at 5:30pm Live music from Tamsin Ball, 5:30pm to 6:30pm Food traders and a fully stocked bar all evening The main fireworks display starts at 7:00pm Tickets Early bird prices are available online for a limited time: Adult (16+): £7.50 Child (3 to 15): £6.50 Family (2 adults, 2 children): £20.00 Carer: free, but must be booked (see below) Under 3s: free, but must be booked so everyone on site is counted Prices at the gate on the night: Adult: £8.00 Child: £7.00 Family: £25.00 Book early, beat the queues and save on the night. Why your ticket matters The display costs thousands to put on, and it only happens because people come through the gate. Watching from outside the ground doesn't support the show or the ward. Come in, be part of it, and know your money went somewhere that counts. Weather Fireworks depend on the weather. If high winds mean we can't go ahead on 1 November, the event will move to Sunday 8 November, and your ticket will be valid for the new date. Updates will be posted here and on our social media. Carers A carer accompanying a ticket holder goes free. You still need to book a carer ticket, and you'll need to show proof of eligibility at the gate, such as an Access Card with the +1 symbol. Refunds All tickets are non-refundable, including if the event moves to the backup date.
